Fringe Benefits

Sorry to everyone for not posting too much lately.  I've been taking photos, but haven't had time to do much posting.  My work and social life has been pretty packed lately, but hoping to catch up tonight and do a lot of posts.

Here are just some outfit shots from a night out in Manhattan last weekend.  I love how fun this dip dyed fringe shirt is from Foley & Corinna.  Worn with J Brand skinny jeans, Nine West gladiator heels, metallic Lauren Merkin clutch and gigantic abalone ring I got in New Orleans (sorry forgot to get a close up on it).

Outside of SEA in the meat packing district I spotted this fantastic wood paneled station wagon and it was so retro lovely I had to get a shot with it!  Again love the fun fringe.

Shot of my friend and I ending up our night with an always fun game of Buck Hunter a one of our favorite dives in the city.

Lazy Sunday

I'm having a totally lazy Sunday so I decided to post some random outfit shots.  Below I'm wearing a thrifted knit shirt, 2 necklaces I hooked together from F21, American Eagle super destroyed boyfriend jeans, Steve Madden fringe heels, and Kooba bag. www.kooba.com (Sorry some of the photos are a little fuzzy).

Close up of the knit shirt and necklaces.

Close up of the fringy heels.

After work one day.  Wearing an Issac Mizrahi striped dress with JCrew layered bauble necklace, Nine West gladiator heels, and Rebecca Minkoff handbag (my favorite handbag designer).  www.rebeccaminkoff.com

Close up of the JCrew bauble necklace and my Octo ring - love, love, love him.

A few weeks ago I went to the Isabel Toledo exhibit at F.I.T.  I wasn't allowed to take pictures inside, since I missed the press night, but her designs are amazingly inspirational!  This Cuban born, but NY based designer is now best know for creating the inauguration dress Michelle Obama wore.  This dress is on exhibit at F.I.T, however I must say several of her other pieces are the show stoppers.  She with help from her husband, Ruben Toledo, make intricate and beautiful pieces from one geometric pattern.  Truly incredible.  Catch her exhibit, Fashion From the Inside Out, at F.I.T through September 26.

Outside the exhibit, wearing a lace mini skirt from JCrew, olive tank from H&M, gold lariat necklace from H&M, Lauren Merkin cork clutch, and Nine West Gladiator sandals.

Octo Ring!!!!

Usually on our last night at the beach we go into the cute town to do some shopping.  I normally find some cute trinkets to bring home, but this year a found a ring that literally took my breath away when I saw him sitting there...

Here I am walking on a beach path after the shopping extravaganza.  Wore this beaded, back cut out dress from Anthropologie.

Here is my shopping purchase.  My new octopus ring!!!  I heart him & have been wearing him at work all week.  I never take him off, but still haven't named him yet!  Also wore a silky bag with tortoise frame from Urban Outfitters.

Close up of the earrings I wore (again from a street vendor in NYC) and the bead and stitch work on the dress.

Nine West Gladiator heels.
