Razz

Since it was Friday and I was excited for the weekend I decided to wear a little sparkle to work yesterday.  I wore a tweed skirt with a row of sequins around the hem paired with a raspberry bow neck blouse.  I really like this tweed skirt because the sequins add something extra to an otherwise ordinary tweed skirt.

Also wore this silver knot ring I picked up years ago at H&M.

Hammered mix metal hoops I got from jewelry designer in SOHO.

Metallic lace up booties by Colin Stuart.

Sparkle & Shine

Yesterday I felt like dressing up in a pretty dress, so I chose to wear this grey dress from JCrew.  I love this dress because it professional enough to wear to work, but it also has a gold sheen woven through out and a ruffled collar, which dresses it up and makes it special.

I paired my dress with snowy white tights...appropriate because it was snowing out yesterday and my BCBG heels.

JCrew bauble ring.

Sarah Briggs earrings.

TGIF everyone!

Ombre Marigolds

Hi Everyone... Just wanted to do a quick outfit post from yesterday.  I wore a striped oxford shirt from JCrew under a grey sweater dress from H&M.  I paired my outfit with marigold tights and a grey bag from Hayden Harnett.

Also wore this adorable, sweet bow bracelet by Gabriel Artigas.

And a necklace with gold and silver cubes.  Can't recall the designer right now.

I paired the outfit with these Report Signature booties.  I love these boots because they are gathered on one side with little skulls and the heel has ombre fading.

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Cold Shoulder

Spent this Saturday running errands around the city and posted some of my loot below.  I wore grey jeans by BDG from Urban Outfitters with a jacket from Gap and an asymmetrical blouse by fei from Anthropologie.  I paired my outfit with brown leather boots from Steve Madden.

Later that night I wore just the blouse out to a birthday dinner.  I love the asymmetry of this and how the navy & white leaf pattern of the blouse contrasts with the lime colored sash.

Close up of my grey flower ring I found at Forever 21 years ago.

Also wore a braided silver headband from Forever 21.

During my errands I found this amazing shampoo by Organix.  The smell of this shampoo is so amazing I want to eat it every time I lather up.  Plus the hot pink bottle is super cute.

Another great score I picked up on my errand running were these 6 bottles of wine for only $46 at Trader Joe's in Union Square!!!  This store carries a vast array of wines at amazing prices.  This supply will last me for weekend dinners for quite a while.

Electric Feel

I decided to wear an electric red ruffle petal cardigan from JCrew to work yesterday to get me over Wednesday/hump day.  I paired the caridgan with a vintage floral blouse underneath and a wool pencil skirt from Proenza Schouler.  As I looked forward to the weekend this colorful cardigan brightened up my day!

Also wore navy ribbed tights and tan oxford pumps by BCBG.

Earring are from Forever 21.  A total steal and also very geometric and feminine.

My set of ruby, emerald, and sapphire stack flower rings from Kevia.

Hope everyone is having a bright and cheerful week!

Da Bombe

Last night I had a client dinner at Buddakan in Chelsea.  The food was amazing and I snapped some shots of the desserts we ordered.  The last was called the chocolate caramel bombe and it was definitely "the bomb" with a combination of caramel, honey, peanut butter and chocolate.  I think I could live off of that dessert!

To the dinner I wore a ribbon detailed circle skirt I got from the Limited ages ago.  I paired the skirt with a ruffled collar sheer grey blouse from JCrew (black tank underneath to be work appropriate).

Close up on the metal, pearl, and crystal loop and chain necklace I wore.  I snagged this tough looking chain at Aldo when I first moved to NYC.

Close up on the ribbon trim on my circle skirt.  Love the detail here!

Colon Stuart suede fringe ankle booties.

Stacking rings I also picked up at Aldo a few years ago.

If you ever have the chance to go to Buddakan in city I highly recommend seizing the opportunity.  The venue is beautiful, especially the main room with the super long dining table, and the food is amazing!

Bon Appetite!

Mimosa Dreams

This weekend I went to Il Bastardo in Chelsea for a Saturday brunch.  Mimosas were delicious!

I wore some casual wool shorts from Anthropologie with hunter green tights and my Deena and Ozzy multi-strap boots.  I paired the shorts with a simple white Hanes v-neck tee and a grey-blue crop cardigan from Forever 21.  I also wore my Bali dream catcher necklace by KT Designs.

Close up of the two rings I also wore - my snake ring and my wood block ring.

Beer Teardrops

After a long work week, I stayed in on Friday to have some fresh ravioli and sample some beers from Hog's Head beer of the month club.  I enjoy light beers and really liked the Grand Cru.  The Pale Ale was also pretty tasty.

I wore a multicolored Tracy Reese dress to work that day and since it's freezing in NYC, I also wore my beige ruffle front coat on top.  I paired the dress with my Forever 21 bubble necklace.

I've had these shoes forever & don't even know who they are by anymore, but the go with so many things & I love the stud detail on them!

I also wore this ring that actually came from Target!  It's a wooden tear drop with metal inset on the lower corner.  Such a fun piece to find at a mass retailer like Target!

Over the Knee

I've had a pretty busy weekend and haven't had a chance to post for a while, but I did want to post this outfit from earlier in the week.  I decided to try out my grey suede over the knee boots while keeping the rest of my outfit pretty simple, since the boots are kind of a statement by themselves.  J Brand skinny jeans with purple H&M turtle neck.

Also worn with a lace and crystal Omri headband I picked up at Anthropologie and my Heather Benjamin druzy ring.  I really liked the way the purple sweater and blue headband looked together.

Grey Suede Sky Scraper

Having a hectic day, but wanted to do a quick post before crawling under my covers to la la land.  Wearing a hunter green boyfriend blazer from Zara, a white men's Hanes v-neck tee, and light blue AE skinny jeans.

I paired my outfit with these out of control suede Dolce Vita heels.  I love how sculptural & modern they are.  In Love!

Wore a multi feathered headband I picked up at Arden B a few years ago.  Love how the different feathers are so beautiful together and the over all headband has a classy feel.

Also wore this vintage green beaded necklace.  The flower pendant at the end is really cool & reversible so even if the necklace flips over you're still showing a pretty flower image.
Have a good night all!
